I have always been fascinated with the world around me, and have been constantly observing, people watching, and describing my environment since before I could even walk (I said my first words at five months old!). As a child, this fascination translated to me spending hours doodling, illustrating characters and their elaborate worlds, creating my own books, and letting my imagination run wild. In many ways, it felt like the truest form of expression that I had. As an adult, illustration continues to be a process that allows me to discern and connect with, well, everything! I'm very inspired by my parents (who have always supported my artistic endeavors), by fellow artists (who I'm constantly in awe of), and by animals (they are fascinating, and we as humans are both so connected to them while truly understanding so little about them).
